This two-day course provides participants with a time-tested methodology to complete RFP's in compliance with the SC Consolidated Procurement Code. A guideline document, which fully describes the above stated methodology, is reviewed. Procurement Officers or field personnel, who will participate in all or part of the RFP process, will benefit from attendance. This course will benefit any public procurement personnel, not only state agencies, who are involved in the RFP Process.

Parking is provided in the parking garage located next to the BB&T building. You may enter the garage using the Assembly or Lady Street entrances. Please take a ticket when you enter the garage. We will provide you with a parking pass during class.  The parking pass is only valid for this garage.  Parking will not be reimbursed should you choose to park in an alternate location, including street meters.

None at this time, however NIGP's three (3) day course "Developing and Managing Request for Proposals in the Public Sector" is a more in depth hands on course offering case studies and exercises that will aid in understanding the techniques and requirements of RFP's. This course is strongly recommended for anyone in public procurement that is responsible for the issuing and managing of RFP's.

Participants will be taken through the processes from beginning to end and also learn the common pitfalls associated with RFP's.
