MMO-4 2019
Legal Aspects & Compendium Series (Note: Participants must attend all 4 classes, August 8, 15, 22, and 29 to receive credit)
8-8-2019 (4 day class: 8-8, 8-15, 8-22, 8-29) (Registration Opens: 7-8-2019)

This course involves a one-day overview of the fundamental legal framework applicable to government contracting, followed by a multi-day, clause-by-clause review of the State’s general bidding instructions, standard contract clauses, and all the associated forms and guidance appearing the Procurement Compendium. The remainder of the course will be a walk-through of the Compendium.

This class covers 4 different classes all in one. A certificate of completion can be used in lieu of the Legal Aspects of Purchasing (MMO-4A) and SC Terms and Conditions (MMO-4D) courses for S.C. Level I and Level II certifications.  

In order to be registered for this series of classes you must be able to attend all four (4) classes: August 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2019. By registering for this event, you are agreeing to attend all four sessions. Please be aware that your agency will be billed $240 July 2018 for the series so it is extremely important for you to let us know now if you are unable to attend any of the classes.

You will need a copy of the following items for every class:

1.       A copy of the procurement code book. Unfortunately, due to high demand they are no longer available for purchase through DPS. 

2.       A copy of the compendium, as posted here.

3.       You will also need a print-out copy of the following documents:
