This full 1 day course reviews the requirements for requesting and implementing an alternative delivery method established by the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code, and the process delineated in the Manual for Planning and Execution of State Permanent Improvements, Part II (Manual) written by the State Engineers Office.  The course is designed to benefit agency Project Managers, Contract  Administrators, and A/E personnel involved in the establishment and management of the Construction Manager at Risk (CM-R) and Design-Build (D-B) methods for the construction of state facilities.  Participants will be lead through a review of Chapters 3, 11 and 12 of the Manual and will be engaged in the completion of various forms and tables required by the chapters.
